Another method, which requires less effort in terms of integrating affiliate banners etc. yet more effort in terms of ensuring that your blog has worthwhile content, is to request contributions. If your visitors view your content as valuable and you’re offering it for free, there is nothing wrong with requesting a monetary form of compensation for your time, effort and, not forgetting, expertise. This way, you don’t have to sell your advice and can concentrate on delivering great content. You may find that you need to rely on an additional income stream whilst you are making headway with the monetization side of your blog.
