I have to admit, I sometimes struggle with productivity. But as a step to move my blog one level higher, I have to formulate my success even through simple steps to achieve my goals:

• Reduce stress
• More free time
• Increase in profits

You might find these ideas simple, but if I implement them faithfully and the right way, I expect to see positive results fairly quickly.

Tips to get more tasks done

Always take the right actions to get the right results. An online business owner is an action taker. One step at a time is better than taking no step at all. Do this until the whole system is complete.

Keep it simple. To get the best end result of an online business, it should be simple and it works. After reading hundreds of eBooks about making money online, it all boils down to this straightforward formula – keeping it simple.

Cut out the distractions. Does the television causing you to be distracted on your work? Then, turn it off. Is Facebook taking your attention to be unfocused on your task? Then, close the internet browser. It's that simple!

Do one project at a time. It is important to make up your mind and work on one project first. If an idea pop ups your mind, have a pad of paper ready to write it down. Never let the idea interfere your current job. I recommend you to keep a "to do list" every time you work for the day so you won't lose track of the important things to be done.

Create an effective work flow. Remember that this is a real business so run it seriously. Be organized on your physical and virtual files. Keep your desk clean and clutter free. Create a structured folder system for your papers and documents.

Remove all the trash off of your computer. By doing this, you're helping your machine work faster and cutting out possible distractions. Uninstall unproductive applications. These too can take your precious time as well as the memory of your computer.

Stay sharp and alert. For me, having a several short breaks is better than few long breaks. I believe that when you move away from your computer to relax for a minute, you brain can recharge and refocus on what you're doing. So take a minute to walk, eat or drink. But you have to make sure that you come back where you stopped.

Technical Issues. Every now and then, you may experience technical problems as you put together your online business. Problems like; internet connection, computer failure, printer jam, slow network, and a lot more. In these cases, don't give up easily! Just take a deep breath and realize to yourself that this too shall be fixed sooner.

Back Up. There are some cases where it is inevitable to impede accidents, especially on electronic files. Be sure to back up your files using flash disks or portable hard drives. Or, you can avail remote server backup options. Remember that at some point, almost every computer will stop working. Just be ready for it.

Decide What You want to Achieve. Make an agreement to yourself not to quit even if you feel heavily challenged. Come to a decision to stick with your goal and reward yourself every now and then to keep you motivated.

At the end, your mindset is the most important asset in your business. It is the way you deal with challenges that shapes the future of your success. Test your mindset by turning challenges into an opportunity.
