Seven More Countries Get Facebook App Center
Facebook's app center applications discovery portal is now available in seven more countries: Brazil, France, Germany, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, and Turkey. The social network said users in those seven countries should now see the app center bookmark on the left side of their homepage on Facebook.com and in Facebook apps for the iPhone, iPad, and Android. Adobe: 2Q Facebook Engagement Up 338 Percent
Recent research by Adobe found that engagement with Facebook posts skyrocketed by a whopping 338 percent in the second quarter of 2012 versus the prior-year period. Report: 2/3 Of European CIOs Still Block Facebook
Despite the emergence of Facebook and other social networks as valuable sales, marketing, and communications tools for businesses, a recent study of 550 chief information officers, IT directors and managers, and network managers in Europe found that 67 percent of them still block Facebook.
