Kyle here with a few keyword tips I hope you will never forget. I will break these down into THREE tips and I am going to show you how to uncover some insane keywords.
Tip #1: Use the ALPHABET!
I like to use a technique I call the "alphabet soup" technique.
Really, this technique can be implemented with any keyword tool, but I have documented it here using Jaaxy...
You can see, I walk through each letter in the alphabet until I fully cover ONE keyword. This is a niche "exposing" keyword research technique. This is my favorite keyword research technique and it has never failed me once. I can spend 10 minutes on a Sunday afternoon using this technique and come up with enough low competition, high traffic keywords to last me for the month ahead in any niche of my choice!
Try walking through the alphabet with just one keyword and I think you will find the results to be amazing!
Tip #2: Start broad, dig down
The key to finding great keywords and a lot of them, requires you to start BROAD. As you move more narrow, the keywords are going to start to flood in. To prove the effectiveness of being broad, I am going to start broad and use the most recent thing that came to mind "flood" (notice it in the last sentence). :)
I dump this term into Jaaxy. Here are some instant ideas I have from the results:
flood clean up
fire flood restoration
flood lights
flood disasters
flood insurance
google flood map
flooded basement cleanup
Some great ideas already.
I also found some low competition keywords that I could easily get an article or a website ranked into Google.
flood insurance in florida (only 246 competing in Google) - GREAT FOR LOCAL
flood water damage (only 325 competing pages in Google)
halo wiki flood (only 33 competing pages in Google)
google flood maps (only 71 competing pages in Google)
fire and flood restoration companies (only 147 competing pages in Google)
All very easy rankers!
What about some highly valuable domains? I got some of those already too!
fireandflooddamage.org (available!)
floodinsuranceinflorida.com (available) - Great for local marketing!
fireandfloodrestorationcompanies.com (available)
These are all highly valuable domains that you could easy obtain the #1 rankings in Google with because of their "keyword rich" qualities. The local domain could easily be turned into a business in itself!
There were more domains I found, but I want to move on with my research to show you what else I can come up with in just a few minutes. I performed another search on the term "water damage". Here is what I got..
fire water damage restoration (12,805 monthly traffic, 238 competing pages)
water damage repair service (399 monthly traffic, 271 competing pages)
water damage experts (870 monthly traffic, 183 competing pages)
mold damage repair (260 monthly traffic, 258 competing pages)
fire damage cleanup (4936 monthly traffic, 384 competing pages)
I then searched on the term "water damage restoration services"...
fire water restoration (6248 monthly traffic, 333 competing pages)
water damage specialist (702 monthly traffic, 278 competing pages)
commercial water damage restoration (164 monthly traffic, 224 competing pages)
These are all excellent keywords. Domains were available for many of these as well. This literally took me a few minutes of research and I took the broad keyword "flood" and found many different niche markets in a matter of minutes.
Try this yourself and be amazing at how simple finding awesome keywords can be. :)
