Today I wanted to get a little "expert" on you.
Just the other day I was having a discussion with Kyle about online success and what separates someone from extreme success online, and one from a mediocre financial footprint.
Cause we are all tired of being "mediocre" aren't we!
The first thing that most people come up with is:
"It because some people are smarter than others?"
Nope.
There are many smart people in this world who make minimum wage were there are many "not so smart" people that make millions of dollars every year.

Just the other day I was having a discussion with Kyle about online success and what separates someone from extreme success online, and one from a mediocre financial footprint.
Cause we are all tired of being "mediocre" aren't we!
The first thing that most people come up with is:
"It because some people are smarter than others?"
Nope.
There are many smart people in this world who make minimum wage were there are many "not so smart" people that make millions of dollars every year.
In fact, the absolute smartest person in the world, Chris Langan was a bouncer for 20 years while having an IQ of close to 200! Just to put this into perspective, Einstein was around 150. If being smart does not equate to success, then what is it though?
Is it because some people don't work hard enough? No, someone that works at a factory or works in the office often times works just as hard, but they are just not rewarded for it in the same way!
So what the heck is it then?
As we talked about it, we reflected at some of the things that we did along the way that lead to our success. We chatted about the things that we both did and the things we didn't do that lead to huge profits. There were many of them, but what was the core factor that lead to success?
BECOMING AN EXPERT! Hands down!
Have you ever thought it was possible to over-diversify? You know, all these years you were told to be well rounded...only to end up with a 9-5 job that only fed you family dinner and heated the house.
That was complete BS!
How about that "job" that allows you to indulge in some of the greater privileges in life...like being able to spend time with the family, doing something you love and being rewarded from it, going on that sought after vacation, and buying that house with the white picket fence? What does it take to get there?
Becoming an expert!
Consider this. You have the two people that went to school for higher education to become a doctor...both going for the same number of years, but one chose the expert path and the other choose the generalist path.
The first individual went to school to become a plastic surgeon while the other went to school to become a general practice doctor. Both are extremely important jobs and both are always in high demand, but which job do you think superseded the other one financially? The diverse set of knowledge general practitioner OR the specialized "expert" plastic surgeon.
Look at the stats:
Max wage (without own practice) for Plastic Surgeon: $820,000 per year
Max wage (without own practice) for General Practitioner: $292,000 per year
So what the heck is it then?

Personally I would choose the Plastic Surgeon...you are still helping people out in an unbelievable way, yet you get reward almost 3 times more in pay!
The similarities between Internet business and this example are uncanny...
Being the "jack of all trades" is no path to success and learning as much as you can about as many topics as you can is not going to lead to success. In fact, by generalizing you could not have been further off from the true path of success!
Becoming an expert is where you want to shift your line of thinking. Become an expert in one industry, using ONE marketing technique of your choice.
The reasons both Kyle and I...and many other members at WA have become successful over the months and years online is that we continue to become experts within our industries and becoming experts using certain marketing techniques before we learn new things!
And now for the really good news!

YOU ARE AN EXPERT!
Take a minute and write down your passions. This could be anything from gardening, to playing basketball, to eating raw vegetables, to collecting old action figures. Anything is a niche and anything that you are a hobbyist or passionate about can be translated into huge online success. You can become the EXPERT in any of these and create a following.
No matter the size of the niche. Even the most obscure niches have 100,000's of people searching for them. Think of the fact that there are now over 3 BILLION people online...and all of these people have interests, many the same as yours.

The funny thing about this is as that you can make much more online than a doctor could ever make...and without spending 8-10 years in school. Think about how far ahead you will be if you work at this for the next 2 months, let alone the next 8 years. You will be well on your way to becoming an Internet marketing prodigy (and expert)!
