Welcome to LinkedIn 101, where you’ll learn how to do profitable B2B networking in the world’s largest professional social network. This is far more than just a “how to fill out your profile” class: you’ll learn online networking techniques that will expand your connections, create new opportunities, and grow your business.

Here’s how to get started:

First, take a look around the site and become familiar with what’s here for you. The course has four lessons, one per week, which include reading and assignments. You have 60 days to complete the course, but if you need more, just let me know and I’ll be happy to give you additional time. The Forum (on the Students menu) is a great place for you to talk with other students both within your course and those in other courses as well.

Second, introduce yourself in the Community Forum, which offers a great opportunity for networking and sharing ideas in a private learning environment.

Third, remember that I’m available during virtual office hours to answer your specific questions regarding customizing your business page. I’m on site everyday, but you can be guaranteed to reach me during my virtual office hours, Wednesdays from 11a.m. to 1p.m. Eastern time.
