| Samsung Has Allegedly Already Leaked The Galaxy Note II Posted: 08 Aug 2012 10:36 AM PDT Making predictions about the new upcoming products and speculating their features is probably the most interesting part of tech bloggers life. However, this becomes a little boring when the company in itself decides to give us sneak peaks to their upcoming devices. The Galaxy Note II is all set to be launched at the end of this month in an unpacking event in Berlin, however, Samsung have made a blooper and allegedly already shown off what their latest offering in the world of smartphone might look like. In a rare event of human error, the Facebook page of Samsung allegedly showed off the image of a device stating "Picture perfect view made even more perfect with Samsung Galaxy S3″. The phone clearly was not the SIII and the image was quickly taken down. The image reappeared sometime later with the caption “Picture perfect view made even more perfect with Samsung Galaxy Note”. However, the device in question is not the Galaxy Note available today as it has contrasting different features such as lack of home screen button and a much bigger form factor and potentially an end to end display. The picture was then put up third time stating Samsung Mobile instead of mentioning any mobile specifically and eventually pulled down. The experts are claiming that this is a ploy by the Korean manufacturers to generate interest before the grand launch. How do you feel about this device in question, would you be interested in buying it if it was the Note II? Do let us know in the section below. Via: Technobuffalo Related posts:

| Iconrenamer Lets You Rename Your Icons In iOS (Cydia Tweak) Posted: 08 Aug 2012 02:32 AM PDT Jailbreaking has most definitely made the apple products really customizable. A lot is made of the lack of ability to personalise your iPhone, in fact it is a closed world where you don't really have much options to sit and edit things your way. Cydia tweaks are the only way that we have on hand to sit and change the way our phone is. So, here is another interesting tweak called iconrenamer. A typical iPhone or iPad for that matter has icons decorated over the springboard and there is the application name which is present underneath the application. However what if you wish to change the names of these icons, for example i want to call the messaging application as texts cause that is what i call it and its then easier as i would register immediately that this is the texting application. However in the native IOS world there is no way to do this unless you are jail broken, so yes to use this tweak you need to have cydia working on your iPhone or iPad. It's very easy to get this tweak. All you have to do is follow these steps: 1) Go to Cydia and in the search bar type in iconrenamer. 2) Download the tweak and let your springboard respring. 3) No new icon is added to your springboard so do not look for it. 4) Tap on the application whose name you wish to change and keep it pressed till you enter the jiggle mode, pressing the application once again will pop up a window and you would be able to enter the name you wish to give the application. This is a fun tweak yet extremely useful as you would be adding a new personalised touch to your device. You can watch this tweak in action here:
