| Watch The iPhone 5 Housing Being Examined Posted: 07 Jun 2012 05:28 AM PDT The iPhone 5 is just around the corner, the parts are leaking and they are leaking fast. We recently saw a lot of images of parts that are supposedly of the upcoming iPhone but what we have now seems too good to be true. BGR has posted an exclusive video with their hands on what looks like the back panel of the new iPhone. We do not know how authentic this is because Apple does take great precautions with the security of their products, but that seems to have changed since Steve Jobs times. If this is the real thing you can expect a lot of changes in the new iPhone from the iPhone 4S. The screen is definitely bigger by at least another .5 inches, the headphone jack is now shifted to the bottom of the device and the speaker grill is different too, the back now seems to have a two tone metal finish. Here is the video: Via: BGR

| GrabberApp: Launch Any Application From Lockscreen On iPhone Posted: 07 Jun 2012 03:05 AM PDT Apple’s great camera grabber in iOS 5.1 was a great hit but what if someone needs other apps rather than camera.app over the standard camera app because sometimes the default camera app gets slow? GrabberApp allows you to launch any app you want directly from lock screen with the cool grabbing feature that apple provided with iOS 5.1. Grabber app also works with the devices which have been locked using the passcode. Grabber app will bypass your password while launching and when you will close the app you will be asked for password to unlock the phone, Which means that the user does not have to worry about exiting the camera app and reach to the homescreen because it will direct you to the lock screen. If you do not have iOS 5.1 or higher, an additional free tweak named Camera grabber for iOS 5.0 has been developed to function with your lock screen. To install this tweak you need to follow the steps given below:
If you know any other tweaks similar to this one or any other tweak which you might think would be useful to iphone users please let us know. Blogtechnika will not be responsible if your device gets bricked while using Cydia.

| Nokia 808 Pureview: A Gimmick Or Pure Genius? Posted: 07 Jun 2012 02:10 AM PDT Nokia has always been the camera master in the mobile phone market. It initiated a new concept called a camera phone with the launch of Nokia N70, the first 2mp camera in smartphones. It moved ahead to N93 with VGA capture, 3mp and optical zoom, and then N95 and N82 with 5mp and xenon flash respectively, N86 with 8mp and the first with intelligent zoom and full digital microphone. With N8 the standard was increased as it was the first with 1/1.83" sensor, it captured 720p videos and had the features of N86 like Xenon and microphone. At the Mobile World Congress 2012 held on 27th February, Nokia scrapped off their all of their previous camera records with the launch of the Nokia PureView 808. It is a Symbian/Nokia Belle with 4" CBD screen and 41mp 1/1.2" sensor with Carl Zeiss optic lens. This is the first smartphone with Nokia PureView imaging technology. Now click crystal clear pictures with the Xenon flash, which is double the power of Nokia N8, even in low light. Being better than anything it also includes full HD 1080p video recording and playback with 4X lossless zoom and the world’s first use of Nokia Rich Recording. Zoom as much as you like. At full resolution approximately 38 megapixel images can be captured without the loss of any detail. The new Nokia PureView 808 uses the Nokia PureView technology which is based on the pixel oversampling technique. This technique is about reducing a high resolution image into lower resolution image and achieves an HD image with high light sensitivity. It means that the oversampling of pixels will feasibly produce high-detailed, noise free images even in low light settings along with a digital zoom without quality degradation or detail loss. Optical zoom in a camera phone is unimaginable considering the size and how bulky the phone might look. Oversampling is the solution found by Nokia to the optical zoom problem of a camera phone after working for 5 long years. It is basically a 5mp camera with a very high resolution sensor. So calculating the whole gets you a 41mp camera phone! The other specifications include:
The phone is currently launched in Black, Red and White colours. This phone is priced Rs.29999 in India. Though it has not officially launched is India, the price given is approximate expected price. | Posted: 07 Jun 2012 01:42 AM PDT Windows 7 was a huge leap compared to Windows xp(lets ignore that laggard Vista) in terms of visual assets. Although the visual elements like aero, shadows, etc were introduced with vista, it came with huge trade offs in performance. 7 was as clean as it gets, but it turns out some people just can't live on middle ground. Unlike windows xp, changing the visual elements(not the basic windows 7 themes that change wallpapers and aero colour) can be tricky. The following guide helps you do just that. Before we tell you anything further, create a backup. Microsoft does not allow you to use themes that modify the shell of Windows 7 or other parts like the Start orb or the taskbar. In order to install those themes you will have to patch some .dll files found in system 32 of your windows. To patch these files, namely uxtheme.dll, themeui.dll and themeservice.dll, you can download the Universal Theme Patcher that works with both x32 and x64 bit versions of windows. To make things easier, this is the download page. In order to patch the files, you will have to run this with administrator privileges. To provide admin rights, right-click on the file and select "Run as administrator". In the interface that follows click patch for all three of the dll files and your PC is ready for a spin. Once the files have been patched, head over to Deviant and search for ‘visual styles 7′. Download the theme you prefer extract the contents and copy the folder and .theme file to “c:\windows\resources\themes” and you are done. Make sure that the folder and the .theme file have the same name. The installed themes can be changed by right click on desktop and then personalize. Many themes will include system files that you have to replace, e.g. explorer.exe, shell32.dll or other system files. You have to replace them to fully install your themes. To replace them rename the old files as explorer.old ect and copy the new files. START ORB: that little start button at the bottom left is now known as start orb, and boy it hasn't changed much. Changing it is relatively simple. Just download start orb changer after you have a backup of the default orb. Now download the .bmp image of a start orb of choice from deviantart.com and replace it using the orb changer. WARNING: Modifying system files can render your system unusable! Always be VERY careful when you replace system files. Blogtechnika would like to extend a warm gratitude towards Mr. Ankur Jangra for his valuable contribution to this post. Related posts:

| The Alleged Google Nexus Tablet Pictures Leaked Posted: 07 Jun 2012 12:11 AM PDT The Nexus Tablet from Google, the first of its kind is about to hit the markets very shortly if the rumors are to be believed. The tablet would be called the The Asus Nexus Tablet since it would be manufactured by Asus and provide a Vanilla Android experience on ICS 4.0. The tablet’s existence was recently confirmed when it appeared in a Benchmark test by the name of Google Nexus 7. So, it is a good guess that the tablet will be sporting a 7 inches tall display measured diagonally obviously. The tablet will be poered by a Tegra 3 chipset powered by a quad core processor and 1 GB of RAM. The tablet may also ship with the latest Google maps service that was unveiled just yesterday. The device is expected to be launched as early as end of this month at the Google I/O. There are some of the leaked images by PhoneArena of this eagerly anticipated tablet. The front of the device seems to be just the touch slab with a front facing camera and a bunch of sensors. It does become a lot more interesting at the back though. The back allegedly has two two colour tones which is very similar to the back that we are seeing from the rumored next iPhone. More patent wars coming our way? You never know. Our first impressions of the tablet are extremely positive. It packs a very powerful punch and definitely seems a lot better than the Samsung Tab 7 and Kindle Fire which would be realistically its only rivals. The device is expected to be priced extremely competently at about $200 so that should be a massive selling point. What do you think about this tablet? Are you awaiting it too? Do let us know in the section below. Via: Phonearena Related posts:
