| Posted: 06 Jun 2012 07:43 AM PDT Blackberry is very much the old fallen giant of the Tech world. Once upon a time we correlated the term smart phones with the likes of Blackberry and Palm. However, of late the tech market is a dominant playground for the likes of Android and iOS and recently emerged Windows Phone 7. Of late RIM have really tried to up their specs and tried to match som eof the bigger players to put RIM back on the tech radar where it should be. We bought for you an overview of the Blackberry World here. Blackberry is planing to launch a new OS called OS10 in the upcoming months. Now you can take a sneak peak at the new OS. Here is the small video put up by RIM. OS 10 definitely looks very impressive but if it will be enough to prevent the RIM boat from sinking is something that only time will answer. In the mean time we keenly await the launch of OS10. Related posts:

| How To Reset Blackberry Without Pulling Out Battery Posted: 06 Jun 2012 07:21 AM PDT Blackberry still remains an extremely attractive device to all those office going people who are always hooked on to their E-Mails. Despite the emergence of Android, iOS and WP7 as the leading operating systems for devices, we still firmly believe that nothing handles E-Mails as well as an old house Blackberry. However, there is always one issue of resetting a Blackberry in case it gets stuck. Due to the old hardware specifications and low configurations, it is not a rare sight to see a Blackberry hang. Very often we see that little circle going round and round, and it just goes on forever. You know your phone is stuck and if you have an urgent call to make or want to prevent your battery from being unnecessarily being consumed the first reaction is to pull the battery out after opening the back compartment. We do not recommend this method. Also, usually your phones are well put inside the cover so to do this, you have to take all the layers of protection off. A quick way to rest your Blackberry device is by pressing the following keys together: ALT+ SHIFT+DELETE After you keep holding these keys for about 3 seconds, your device will restart just like it would when you first popped the battery in. Also note, this does not delete any settings or data that is saved on your device. It merely reboots your phone but if you were in the middle of composing a mail or text, that maybe lost. i hope this little tweak would help you as you use your Blackberry. If you have more such Blackberry tips, do let us know. Related posts:

| Hurry Up To Change Your LinkedIn Password; 6.46 Million Leaked Online Already Posted: 06 Jun 2012 06:49 AM PDT The Verge has reported that about 6.46 Million, in fact 6,458,020 passwords of the famous Networking site LinkedIn have been leaked online. All these passwords are believed still to have an encryption and are floating around the Web to download. The username pertaining to these passwords are unknown still but there are big chances that your account maybe one of them, so hurry up and change the password. The report was first published out of this Russian site and people thought it was yet another of those online gimmicks untill it was widely reported across twitter that people faced issues with their LinkedIn accounts. The Chief Research Officer of F-Secure confirmed that the list is “a real collection” and he was “guessing it's some sort of exploit on their [LinkedIn's] web interface, but there's no way to know. I am sure sure LinkedIn will fill us in sooner or later." However, it would take a lot of time to decrypt such a large number of passwords so you have little to worry about but as a precaution it would not harm if you changed your password. It is not like anyone is accessing your account details but like they say prevention is better than cure. LinkedIn on their part have promised that they are investigating the issue and would get back with the findings very soon. Via: Technobuffalo

| Snow Bros: Bring The Childhood Days Back With This Game On iOS Posted: 06 Jun 2012 06:30 AM PDT If you enjoyed those delightful video game times in those late 90′s then you surely must have come across this game. A rage it was and one of the most popular 2 player games during the time. Nostalgia can be a tricky thing. Sometimes you'll find something from long ago that gives you all kinds of warm and fuzzy feelings, while other times you’ll kick yourself for buying that Transformers animated movie because your 10-year-old brain told you it was awesome. In Snow Bros you play as one of the Snow Bros, although since there's no multi-player, there's really just a single Snow Bro. The Snow Bros are snowmen in overalls who must fight to get their princess back. Each of the game's 50 levels is a single screen full of platforms on which the Bro has to fight against waves of different types of enemy creatures. You can now customize the controls in a variety of ways; the size, position and opacity of all of the buttons can all be changed to how you like them. The controls also seem to be much more responsive. You can also now lock the screen orientation so you don't have to keep changing it every time you start up the game. You fight the monsters by throwing snow at them, thus turning them into giant snowballs, and then kicking the snowball down to the bottom of the stage, knocking out any other monsters who might get in the way. You keep doing this until you've defeated all the monsters in the level, and at the end of every 10 levels there's a boss monster you must kill before you can move on to the next world. Once you've finished the game, you can play through it again in hard mode, which might be fun or boring as you have to see the same levels again. Defeated enemies drop power-ups, the most important ones being- a red bottle enabling you to run fast, a yellow bottle enabling you to throw larger chunks of snow and green bottle enabling you to throw snow to a farther distance. Getting these power ups makes the gameplay quite interesting and more fun to play as you can more effectively kill the bad guys. The buttons for jumping and attacking are provided in the bottom with an on-screen D-Pad beside it. There are currently 50 stages to the game and 20 different monsters block your way. Don’t take too much time or another monster enters and bothers you a lot. Anyone who was familiar with the older gaming systems would pick it right up. But for others it might seem as a game of the past not adrenaline pumping enough as compared to the new generation heavy weights of gaming. Price : $0.99 Requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.Requires iOS 4.0 or later. This app is designed for both iPhone and iPad. Developer: Isac Entertainment Corp. This is the link to Download the Game. Related posts:
